Intolight: Changing the Relationship between Performance and Audience


Intolight, a group of musicians, visual media artists and product designers, will present a two-day public event to field-test CHET (Collective Hedonistic Environments Toolkit) at the upcoming FutureEverything Festival in May.

What’s CHET all about? „People will be able to bring their individual audio and video content and meet for audiovisual jam sessions.“ Read more about CHET at FutureEverything’s Website.

A presentation of the complete project is planned in November at CYNETART in Dresden.

Here’s a glimpse of Intolight’s UNCANNY HEROES premiered as part of the AUTOMATIQUE CLUBBING events at CYNETART festival for computer based art in Dresden, 2010.

Utopienwerkstatts Blog one zero launsch ist die digitale Insel von Utopienwerkstatt. Launsch ist ein Mashup aus den Worten “lounge” und “launch”. Das Ergebnis ist ein Fantasiewort, das im Nirgendwo existiert, genauso wie die Insel Utopia. “One” und “zero” bezieht ich sowohl auf Countdown als auch auf die digitale Welt bestehend aus den Werten Null und Eins. Die Utopienwerkstatt versteht sich als Plattform für Künstlerinnen und Künstler, die den kreativen Austausch zwischen den Kunstsparten, den Dialog zwischen darstellender Kunst und Wissenschaft und den Dialog zwischen darstellender Kunst und Bildung suchen. Unter dem Label “textband spielt: …” produziert die Utopienwerkstatt lebendiges, zeitgenössisches Erzähltheater. The blog "one zero launsch" is the digital island of "Utopienwerkstatt". The name of the blog is a wordplay with the two words “launch” and “lounge”. the result is a german mash-up fantasy word that does exist nowhere, just as the island Utopia. “One Zero” refers as well to countdown as to the digital world made of “One” and “Zero”. The Utopienwerkstatt is a plattform for artists who are looking for opportunities to engage in cross-disciplinary dialogue. Hybrid forms of artistic expression form the Utopienwerstatt’s centre of interest.
